Greater Bendigo Brass is a community based organization and is made up of many people from across the community. The band receives continued support from the Kangaroo Flat Secondary College through the sharing of resources and facilities. As the band fulfils its community obligation to support community groups and the broader community as a whole, the need to raise funds to allow this work to continue is of extreme importance. Not many people outside of brass bands realize that to fit out a band with instruments and uniforms alone costs more than $220,000. The band is therefore very reliant on the kind support of a number of groups to assist in the continual maintenance of the bands uniforms, instruments and to allow for the purchase of music.
The generous sponsorship of these groups greatly assists the band to continue performing in the community; however the band is constantly seeking sponsorship. If you or your organisation would like to be part of a strongly focused team and would like to assist the band continue on with its musical work by becoming a sponsor, please do not hesitate to contact one of the representatives from the band to speak about the benefits being a sponsor can bring.
